Corporate Tax Returns

Friday March 4, 2005
March 15th is the deadline to file income tax returns for corporations and S-corporations, and the day is fast approaching. If you haven't started, here's my suggestion for what to do right now. First, file an extension using Form 7004 (link to PDF file) and Instructions for Form 7004 (also in PDF format). This provides an automatic 6-month extension, until September 15th. You still need to pay your taxes by March 15th, so be sure to include a payment for an estimated amount of taxes.

Second, download the necessary IRS Forms for Partnership, Corporate or Limited Liability Company Returns. Third, get to work! Need still more corporate tax forms? Check this list of IRS Corporate Tax Forms.
