Filing an Extension

It's not to early to file an extension. Here's three situations where I suggest you file an extension now. 1) You suspect that you have a balance due. Make a payment now with Form 4868. This will give you extra time to work on your tax return. 2) You are still missing some tax documents, such as K-1s from partnerships or S-corps. Or 3) you have yet to make an appointment with your tax accountant.
