IRS Centralizes Lien Processing in Cincinnati

The Internal Revenue Service is centralizing all lien processing activities into the Cincinnati, Ohio, campus. Over the next several months, the IRS will relocate all lien processing to the Cincinnati office in order to focus on efficiency and responsiveness to the needs of taxpayers.

The Small Business/Self Employed division of the Internal Revenue Service is responsible for this redesign its compliance support functions.

A toll free number, (800) 913-6050, is now available to process lien release or payoff requests. This phone number will be operational from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. You may also fax your requests to 859-669-4954.
