Study Materials for the EA Exam
Friday August 26, 2005
With less than a month to go, people who have signed up to take the upcoming Special Enrollment Examination should be studying and reviewing. I initially recommended an 160-hour study plan, but that would be too aggressive in these final weeks before the test. Instead, review EA exam study materials over 80 hours. If you are using the Gleim EA Review books, cover two chapters a day spending about two hours per chapter. Here's a listing of review and crash courses you can take over the next few weeks:
- TaxMama's 2005 Online IRS Exam Study Course
- National Association of Tax Professionals Enrolled Agent Training Workshop, being held August 29 - 31 in Columbus, OH, and Philadelphia, PA.
- National Association of Enrolled Agents SEE Prep Seminar
One final reminder: if you are pressed to find study time, take a few minutes every now and then and test your knowledge using the interactive study material on the NATP web site. They take you through all the questions and answers to the 2004 EA Exam.
