Hello. in 2006 my husband filed our taxes on line and he did not print the information. Anyhow I now need my 2006 Schedule c and was wondering how i would get that information? Thank you for your time. Kelly
Kelly, the best thing to do is ask the IRS to mail you a transcript of your tax return. To do this, simply mail in Form 4506-T (pdf, 2 pages). Transcripts are a computer-generated printout of your return showing all line items on the return as it was submitted. There will be a section showing the Schedule C data. There’s no charge for requesting this report from the IRS.
There’s different type of transcripts that can be ordered. What you want is the return transcript (this is indicated by checking line 6a of the form).
