Next Tax Deadline: October 16th, 2006

This time of year many taxpayers would be scrambling to file their second extensions. But if you filed an extension back in April, the IRS granted you an automatic 6-month extension of time to file your taxes. Your next deadline is October 16, 2006. If you didn't request an automatic extension, you should file your 2005 tax returns at your earliest convenience in order to minimize any late-filing penalties.
