Standard Mileage Rates for 2007

The Internal Revenue Service has announced the standard mileage rates for tax year 2007. Taxpayers who use their car for business purposes can deduct 48.5 cents per mile. For medical and moving expenses, the standard mileage rate will be 20 cents per mile. The rate for charity mileage remains unchanged at 14 cents per mile.
