"Getting to Know" Kay Bell

Saturday May 26, 2007
My favorite tax journalist, the intrepid Kay Bell of Don't Mess With Taxes fame, has been profiled by taxgirl.

I really enjoy Kay's posts at DMWT, and so it's fun to learn more about her personality. We know from her blogging that she's an avid birder and sports fan. What I didn't know, is that Kay shares my passion for the music of Jane Monheit (home page, myspace, interview with About.com). From one jazz fan to another, I wonder if Kay has listened to Les Nubians (home page, myspace)?

You'll enjoy reading the read of the taxgirl blog. Taxgirl is written by tax attorney-turned-obsessive-blogger Kelly Phillips Erb. When she's not being an attorney or writing about taxes, the taxgirl writes about family life for not just one, but four different blogs. Where does she find all that energy?

(1) Kay says:

How nice to find another Jane fan! I’ve heard of Les Nubians but not heard their work. But I’ll definitely check them out since I know we share similar musical tastes. Thanks!
