Which Business Expenses are Tax Deductible?

Many clients and readers ask me which business expenses are deductible on their taxes? The short answer is that most business expenses are fully deductible against business income. And that's good news, since entrepreneurs are taxed twice on their business income: once for the regular tax and again for the self-employment tax. I've listed some of the most common business expenses, and highlighted expenses that are only partially deductible or not deductible at all.
