The US Senate has voted on its own version of an economic stimulus package. The Senate package features early tax rebates of $300 to $1,200. Unlike the House version of the rebate plan, the Senate version provides rebates for Social Security recipients and disabled veterans. The legislation how goes back to the House of Representatives for a final vote.

now i agree and disagree with this plan for different reasons.the first of my reasons being people like me being on ssi struggling to survive as it is get nothing and in fact we suffer with our home taxes the most.although i do agree it is great for people being on social security it is insightful and well thought out but please consider us disabled people on ssi first.
