Indiana Tax Amnesty

Tax Amnesty Program (see more information about types of tax relief programs).
When:
September 15, 2005, through November 15, 2005.
Who Can Apply:
Any individual or business.
Relief Provided:
Waives all penalties, interest, and collection fees for full payment of taxes. In addition, the Department will agree not to criminally or civilly prosecute you for any taxes for which you claim amnesty relief.
Requirements:
Full payment of taxes by November 15, 2005, or set up installment agreement to pay the taxes in full by June 15, 2006. File all missing tax returns. File corrected tax returns if you understated your tax obligation. Sign an amnesty application.
What if I don't participate:
Higher penalties will be assessed on your unpaid taxes. The amnesty penalty is double the originally assessed penalty.
Program does not apply to:
Property taxes and unemployment taxes.
